For a change in pace, I went mountain biking Saturday. I drove 120 miles to the
Winona Lake Trail in Warsaw, Indiana. This is a 10.2 mile, fairly technical trail with some pretty good sections. I managed 4 laps, 40.8 miles, at 95 degrees and 85% humidity! It was bloody hot! The high point of the day was when I lost traction on a climb and slid backwards while pedaling, quite a thrill, as I almost went in the lake! Great day! Hot, but great!
A Bad day on the bike beats most other days, except for a good day on the bike!
